This renowned evidence-based exercise program is delivered by specially trained Kinesiology students with advanced skills to work with aging and clinical populations. Designed for individuals age 65+, the program targets mobility and injury/disease prevention. Exercises focus on reducing cardiovascular disease risk factors and improving joint mobility and stability through strength, endurance, balance, coordination, agility and flexibility.
3 Sessions running every Friday and Tuesday
Session 1 - 8:30am - 9:25am
Session 2 - 9:30am - 10:25am
Session 3 - 10:30am - 11:25am
Stable health conditions, moderate to high functional mobility and no use of mobility aids.
New participants MUST have the following completed PRIOR to participating:
-Schedule an intake appointment with the School of Kinesiology (604) 822-0207.
