About:

·         Neighborhood Small Grants (NSG) is a unique program funded by the Vancouver Foundation that helps build community and strengthen connections right where people live – in their neighborhoods.  This program supports residents like you: residents who have small but powerful ideas to bring people together and make your neighbourhood vibrant.

·         There are Neighbourhood Small Grants and Greenest City Grants both offering grants between $50 and $500 (and occasionally $1000). Both grants are designed to help make your project a reality. A community garden, a canning workshop, an intergenerational storytelling project, a street party, and a book exchange – these are just some of the amazing things you can apply for.

·         The purpose behind NSG is to stimulate creativity, encourage local solutions, build connections between neighbors, and engage people from all backgrounds and circumstances in the life of their community.
