Our Community Pastoral Resource Centre is a centralized place within the Kerrisdale/Marpole Community where people can meet with a care advocate who will provide warm referrals to the appropriate dignity resources for housing, food, health and security and provide support in making those connections.
Rather than merely providing a phone number or address, we journey with each client, often making the first call or visit with them, and continue to keep in contact until the need is met.
We provide referrals tailored to each person’s specific needs for:
• Food, Community Meals • Clothing • Affordable Housing • Legal and welfare advocacy • Employment Services • Victims of violence • Alcohol and Drug Counselling/ Detox Support • Personal Counselling
“By bearing witness to each person’s story, holding them in prayer and seeking to support them,
we are committed to sharing God’s love and hope with the most vulnerable members of our community;
to uphold them as they seek to live with the dignity that is the right of every human being.”
